When did you start blogging?

October 2010

How did you decide on the name of your blog?

I used to prepare dinners for my friends with very simple recipes. I wanted to share it with them and show that cooking is not as difficult as I seems.

What was the title of your first ever blog post?

Simple comme le gratin gifoutout du dimanche soir. A recipe from Thrish Deseine’s second book named «  Le bonheur est dans le plat ».

Do you prefer eating in or eating out?

Both of them. I love to eat simple things at home with my daughter, mainly vegetarian food. We always try to find and create new recipes. But I also like to eat out with my boyfriend who often takes me to wonderful restaurants in Brussels

What is your favourite comfort food?

An avocado toast with gomasio and sumac

Was there a particular dish that got you into cooking?

Pancakes. I learned how to prepare them from our chef when I was living in Africa. I loved watching him while he was cooking.

What is your earliest food memory?

Fishsticks. My mother didn’t like to cook at all.

What are the three things you always have in your freezer?

Ice cubes, Lemongrass and good bread
